What is CAIBOK?
CAIBOK (the Culinary Arts International Body of Knowledge) is an independent certification body for chefs. We define competencies, assess them with exams, and issue verifiable credentials — we do not deliver training or endorse any provider.

How do I get certified?
Join as a member ($9.99/yr) to unlock every subject exam. Pass an exam (75%) to earn that competency and its badge; complete a belt's pattern (anchors + electives) to earn the belt.

How do I verify someone's credential?
Anyone with a member's public profile link can view their credentials. Approved employers can search by name or code.

Do belts expire?
Only the White Belt (food handler) and Brown Belt Safety require an annual refresher; all other credentials are permanent.
How do I add my badge to LinkedIn?
When you earn a credential, your dashboard and the “My certificates” page show an “Add to LinkedIn” button that pre-fills your profile automatically.
